Our desire is that every person who calls Bridge City home, as disciples of Jesus, would be actively committed to our aspiring multiethnic family.
The Bible describes the church as a body, a temple, a bride—and a family. God adopts us through Christ into his household (Ephesians 1:5), making us part of a diverse, united, Christ-centered community.
What is the Church?
The church is the “household of faith” (Galatians 6:10)—a spiritual family. God’s family is not defined by political, ethnic, or cultural identity but by our unity in Christ. We believe in living out a multiethnic family where our diversity reflects God’s kingdom and our unity reflects Jesus.
Why Membership Matters
Becoming a family member means actively participating in God's vision for the church:
- God is forming a new community centered on Christ and the gospel (Ephesians 2:16–22).
- Through the Spirit, the local church becomes a place of growth and spiritual transformation.
- Our relationships show the world who Jesus is (John 13:35). As God’s “Plan A,” the church reflects His glory to the world.
How We Grow Together
Membership isn’t about status, it’s about discipleship. At Bridge City:
- We grow in our love for God and each other.
- We reflect God’s holiness in a watching world.
- We participate in God’s redemptive mission through community, holiness, and love.

2. Walk through Groundworks — a 6-week study of our discipleship pathway.
3. Final meeting with a leader to affirm your family membership.
